Beginning in Oakville in 2000, Karen Mayer restarted her creative journey after quitting her full-time corporate marketing and sales career, founding SavvyArt Market, an online gallery of Canadian art. Still in operation and growing every year, Karen felt called to do more for people challenged with the stresses of every day life, especially since the start of the COVID pandemic and troubling world events.

 

She witnessed the stress, frustration and fear even in the most successful, fit and active friends, family and neighbours. Humans in general are being pulled down by the weight of these troubling times and at the same time are expected to continue to do productive work, raise their families and be a source of joy for loved ones. Almost an impossible task without the right perspective.

 

Karen's unique artistic background, skills and experiences became the inspiration for ArtSpa, a fun and interactive program to spark your creativity and provide you respite and self-care opportunities. 

At ArtSpa, we pride ourselves on the ability to change and impact lives by reawakening your creativity, relieving your stress while you have fun and be Present. We do so by delivering a variety of courses, videos, tools, art kits and exercises to help all of our clients be refreshed and energized.
